Why Piaggio
Piaggio has been in business since 1898, and entered the scooter market in 1946 with their iconic Vespa motorscooter. They now own and market models under the Vespa, Piaggio, Derbi, Gilera, Moto Guzzi, and Aprilia brands. Piaggio scooters are a lower-priced alternative to Vespa, and incorporate many of the same great technical features.
