We are a little surprised at how few stores sell transmission (aka gear oil). All scooters have transmissions and all of them use a transmission fluid that need to be replaced at certain intervals. Here we have Motul Brand Transoil SAE 30 equivalent for use in your Genuine Stella and every Vespa that calls for SAE 30 in the gearbox (pretty much every old Vespa ever made).
We recommend changing the gear oil about every year for the manual transmission scooters. You will also need a syringe for adding the gear oil. See our item “Syringe for Gear Oil” for that.
