This oil filter tool is a necessary for removal of OEM Piaggio oil filters and the EMGO aftermarket oil filter that have a SLOTTED end.  If you want to avoid the extra expense, please buy the SENTEC oil filter.  You don’t need a special tool for it.  In our shop, we only use the SENTEC oil filter.
