Buddy 50 Carburetor Overhaul Kit

If your scooter has only been parked for a few months, usually a careful and thorough cleaning of the bowl and jets will get you going again.  However, if your carburetor has been sitting with fuel in it for a year or two, replacing these items and carefully cleaning the carburetor body, paying special attention to the accelerator pump and idle circuit passages, can save you money over replacing the entire carburetor.

In any case, if you aren’t competent at cleaning and adjusting carburetors, consider purchasing a complete replacement carburetor instead.
